Focus : Spinal mobility through full body movement fully utilizing the Balanced Body Exo Chair with attached springs for arms and legs. Strengthen arms and legs; work balance; work unilaterally; side body and posterior chain while using our core to stabilize.
Class Level : Intermediate on up.
The Course of this Class : We are looking to encourage full spinal mobility in this session in all planes: seated, standing, lying side and prone. We will coordinate our movement with our breath and spine while also challenging our balance and each side at a time. Working unilaterally helps to balance out our imbalances! We start standing and move to the chair after for seated and lying work. We’ll use the arm and leg springs in every exercise. This is a great FULL BODY workout. Really incorporating coordination, mind-body awareness and connection, and working from our core out!
Goals : Spinal mobilization and flexibility, stronger arms and legs, lean body muscle tone, openness through the front body and greater connection and strength through the posterior chain.
