This full body stretch session today focuses on opening the entire body. Mobilizing tissues, moving out lactic acid built up if coming in after a tough workout, and releasing tensions stored up in the body. You will open your chest wall; stretch your pecs; extend your spine; mobilize your thoracic spine; release your shoulders; stretch your triceps; lengthen your calves and hamstrings; release a tight IT band, piriformis, external hip rotators and glutes; release your low back, spinal erectors and QL (quadratus lumborum); roll out your quads and stretch your inner thighs. And last but not least, you’ll even stretch your feet!
Your Mat, a foam roller, a resistance band (long enough to stretch with), and a medium size soft ball.
We start with the soft ball, move on to the resistance band and then finish rolling ourselves out on the foam roller. The props today are an important part of helping us squeeze more out of this full body stretch session. They also assist our bodies into the stretch. Class pace is slow and meditative. Feel free to do part of class, or skip forward to the stretches you are really needing today.

Don’t worry if you don’t have time for the whole thing, this is meant to use as you need and for what you are needing most! A little stretching is better than none at all! Just as a little movement is better than none at all!
