Studio Class of the Week: Rock your Body – Dynamic Balance Pow!

Level: Advanced, Intermediate

FOCUS :   

Wait for it! Oh yes, you’ll be challenging your standing balance today in many dynamic ways, so get ready. We’ll lock in our core connection and strength first and then take ourselves to the test in a fun, creative flow. Stick with today’s class till the end, it’s worth the shape and burn! And then come back AND REPEAT often!

EQUIPMENT NEEDED : 

Reformer + soft ball + Pilates ring/magic circle.

CLASS LEVEL :     

Intermediate to advanced.

GOALS :     

Increase deep core strength. Improve overall strength, balance and coordination along with mind-body connectivity and muscle firing patterns. Improve muscular balance and symmetry. Work and challenge balance systems: vestibular and proprioceptive using dynamic and complex exercises. Fun and creative variations on the Reformer. Burn fat, build lean muscle, shape and tone body. Increase stamina and endurance, fitness level. Athletic class. Improve spinal support via a strong stature.
